So here is the recap... all of them at once! This is all of the cards that were part of my Tons Of Thanks 101020 card class (10 cards, 10 designs, $20) ... now I need to get crackin on the Christmas Cards for this weekends Stamp-a-Stack class (4 designs, 5 of each, 20 cards/env for $30)!

I am going to try to blog a card a day for you while I am out of town enjoying our kids Fall Break cruising the Mexican Rivera. It is our first ever cruise and we are excited but a wee bit anxious too! So I am going to try to type these next few posts up ahead of time, so that you have something to check out each day!
These are the cards from my "101020 Tons of Thanks Class". All of them are thank you cards using a wide variety of stamp sets. Many of the cards were inspired by others - so if you see something that looks like one of yours - thank you for sharing your artwork! It has been a crazy week so some are actual straight up CASE'd or barely modified and others were the springboard to my final design.
This first picture is a teaser - it shows several of the cards but not all of them! Check back each day!
This card is right from the Stampin' Up! website - modified just slightly where I altered the card layers and added some pen strokes.

And tah-dah, here is a beautiful card that is made with the Stencil Paste and the Decor Stencils too. As you are done lifting your stencil off a project, you will still have a lot of leftover stencil paste sitting on your stencil... so you need to scrape it off and put it back in the jar to use the next time. Kind of like glitter or embossing powder, it could last forever! Well maybe, IF you can stop yourself from stenciling every flat surface in sight!
So the first time I just squeegee'd my stencil right on my blotter sheet - so the large excess was scooped off and back into the tub it went, but a thin layer had been "pulled" through the stencil as I swiped my squeegee tool across the length of the stencil. Well when it dried it was a perfectly thin image of the stencil... only problem was, it was on my blotter paper! So I told myself to always make sure I clean my excess stencil off on a piece of cardstock - at least then you have the option of using it later on something else. So then there's really no waste at all!
So here is my "leftover - last pull" card from making the little square scallop mini books. For this one I used Kraft Cardstock and once it was dry, I just left the paste white (so it's not sponged) and added some 2-way glue pen and Dazzling Diamonds glitter. I had a small piece of Chocolate Chip Striped Ribbon laying around so I just pulled it through to a loose knot and glue dotted it on. Layered it with Whisper White and Chocolate Chip onto a Kraft card base. Added the "sparkle" greeting from the Warm Words stamp set with Chocolate Chip ink.

Thanks for visiting each day! If you have been here since the beginning of the week then you already know that I am continuing on with the items that I made for my demonstration portion of our event. The products that I was showcasing were the Decor Stencils & Shimmer Paint.
This next little gem is a CASE from Kimberly VD, she did something very similar to this on her blog and I thought it was so adorable! I ordered the Christmas Ornament decor stencil collection just to make these! I modified mine just a bit (bright colors) and to be honest mine is not yet finished as I still need to decide what to do for the inside pages and more ribbon on the key ring clasp thingy.
We are cruising for the first time ever during our kids Fall Break this year. I plan to make these for both of my girls and maybe a couple for the other teenage girl friends that are also cruising. So the girls would all have little mini albums and they'd just have to pop in pictures and they could jot their journaling down while we are crusing.
This uses our long board chipboard and the Clear Bigz Scallop Square die and the Big Shot Sizzix machine and the new exclusive lower case Stampin Up "simple alphabet".
The Christmas Ornaments decor stencil, the swirly image.
Crop-a-dile, and jumbo eyelets and chocolate chip striped ribbon, 2 way glue pen and lots of dazzling diamonds glitter! Stamping Sponges and colors of your choice, mine were chocolate chip and melon mambo and Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Series Paper finish out my supplies.
This picture gives you a close up look of the stencil paste, the color sponged on and then the glitter of course! Gosh they are so addicting!

NOTE:
SU! does not carry anything like this, so I am NOT in violation of my IDA contract as this is not a competing product. :-)
Place the stencil down and scoop out the paste with your spatula tool and pull/press it over the entire stencil and all openings. You can swirl it around like frosting to get it as thick as you want.
Then lift the stencil up away from your chipboard piece - some areas come out thicker than other, especially depending on the size of the openings in the stencil.
TIP: clean your stencil pretty quick as the paste will dry and it can "clog" the smaller openings ... this happened to me at the event. just be gentle when you clean so that you don't damage the delicate ares of the stencil. I cleaned with a baby wipe at the event, or in my sink at home w/warm water and a soft sponge.
I decided on this set up for sponging color on. Initally I was pinching my sponge so tight when I did the Linen Album (see a couple of days ago) that my fingers hurt... so I looked around my desk and wallah - here was a clip that wasn't being used.
So just squeeze your binder clip open and place your folded up sponge in there. It is a 1/4 size of a SU stampin sponge.

You can get 2 scallop sqaures and have about 4" of chipboard leftover from one piece of long board chip board. The 4" piece was cut to 2 - 2" pieces which fit perfectly over the 0&9 ... so 2 covers & 2 sets of numbers! Still need the back covers and whatever I'm going to do for inside pages... am leaning towards using the "backer" board from the DSP packages for their pages.

Here are some more pictures of the items that I made for my demonstration at the September to Remember Event. CLICK ON ANY PICTURE to view it larger.
I used the Small Kind Thoughts Brocade decor stencil and Stencil Paste to create the raised dimension.
Then I lightly sponged a bit of Mellow Moss ink onto the raised image, once dry I used a bit of the Tombow Multi-purpose Adhesive glue and Dazzling Diamonds glitter.
Sponged some Pretties Kit Flowers and added a few pearls too - with Crystal Effects as the adhesive for these. On the spine, I used some of the Medium width Twill Tape Ribbon, added a hat pin with pretties pearls and beads, tied off with some Mellow Moss Tafetta Ribbon. This inspiration for this album was from non other than Shelli Gardner, CEO & Co-Founder of Stampin' Up! She shared one similar to this at Leadership last year. Just took me a long time to get to making mine! LOL but it was easier than it looked and I absolutely LOVE the way it turned out!
The dimension was created with stencil paste.
Then I sponged a little color with a sponge dauber, then I used the Tombow Multi-purpose adhesive glue and some of the light blue
Fine Cosmo glitter (pg 180).
Tied off with the Light Blue wide grosgrain ribbon and White tafetta ribbon. Still need to add the final touches with a cute tag of some sort.

Well, sorry if I get you wet with drool but I am back from the dentist and my mouth, tongue and face are still a bit numb and I swear I am drooling, so careful, grab a kleenex or paper towel to wipe it off! ha!
But seriously, you might just drool! These are the projects that I made for my demonstration portion of our September To Remember Event. My featured products were the Decor Stencils and the Shimmer Paints. So I made a few things and tried to show a bit of what else you could do with both, and even together.. it was so much fun and addicting that I could hardly stop myself once I got started. And I am not normally a huge "craft" stamper, I tend to love "paper"!
I want to give credit to Stampin Up because some of this was shared by them at Leadership last January as a source of inspiration as well as at convention this August, and also to Kimberly Van Diepen as she made a video that was posted to her blog... although I can barely get the thing to load and run, instead it sits with the little circle "thinking, waiting" thing going on and on... SOMEONE IN THE KNOW please help me adjust this if it is a setting on my end! I click on it and it automatically starts to play and I think it's trying to play faster than it's loading but when I hit pause, it just stops all together... same thing if I hop over to UTube to try it there. So I have watched it but only as a few seconds at a time... but it was very helpful to see.

And then I applied a Translucent Stencil Paste over the top of it. Apply with a spatula tool, drag across the stencil so the paste fills the openings of the stencil, scrape off and return excess to the tub. let dry and this particular paste dries clear with a glossy finish.
Perfect Plum and Mellow Moss
The 2nd element is combining some drops of Close to Cocoa Classic Ink refill to a few drops of the Champagne Mist shimmer paint, mixing it with a paint brush. Then painted several flowers from our SU Pretties Kit, let them dry, applied them to the frame with Crystal Effects and added a 1/2 Flat Back Pearl to the centers (also from the Pretties Kit).
And since I had mixed more than I needed, I looked around the ol' craft room and lookie what I found, sitting naked in a corner.
Well, about time to decorate this jumbo clip.
This time I used the Floraly-Swirl image from the Christmas Ornament decor stencil pack (you get 4 in this pack, hello!!!). I used a sponge dauber with the shimmer mix and just daubed it on the wood, turned it, did another side, ...
In person its pretty cool because not only is the color fabulous but it has that "wood burned" look, reminds me of my brothers! They used to have those tools. And of course it shimmers like crazy!

Well we had our September to Remember large group event yesterday, open to all members of my INKin' All Night! downline and my "Adopted INKers" local group of sidelines and other local demonstrators and it was open to our customers as well! We had about 65 registered and almost everyone made it, we missed the few of you that weren't able to be there in person.
Here is a picture of Diana Gibbs (my downline and cohost) and Linda Hansen (guest speaker/presenter) and myself. Diana didn't get the memo to wear green... we teased her a little bit!
This stationary box was designed using a tutorial by Valerie Stangle (stampin val gal)
And this is a Stair Step card based on a tutorial from Splitcoast Stampers.
It features the Autumn Harvest, Season of Friendship and Grateful Greetings stamp set from the Holiday Mini catalog along with the new Day & Night designer series paper.
This is our Holiday Photo Card which uses the wood sheets and the Big Shot, cut with the Bigz Clear Scallop Square die for the frame, the Petals a Plenty Textured Impressions folder, the new Snowflake punch, Playground Designer Buttons and the L2 Christmas Punch hostess set, Lg Oval & Scallop Oval punches.
and my girls will kill me because this is a couple of years old... oh well! maybe if they are younger than I will feel younger?
This features the Season of Friendship stamp set and the new Night and Day DSP from the Holiday Mini catalog and the Playground Designer buttons again, white tafetta ribbon and the ticket corner punch.

And the last project was using the Decor Stencil "Flourishes" from the Definitely Decorative catalog with the White Frost Shimmer Paint from the mini catalog. Applied to the black canvas tote bag with a sponge dauber. Easy Peasy, now to bling it up a bit!!

I wanted to share the card I made for my downline Shoe Box Swap that I held last week. I host a team meeting every month for my "INKin' All Night!" Stampin' Up! team and this year I have decided to mix things up a bit. So in September we had a Shoe Box Swap instead of a traditional meeting and it was a ton of fun! I think we may do it quarterly, so we'll see! Most months include a traditional meeting format with business updates, an organized swap, product demonstrations, tips & tricks, workshop or class project shares. And then probably about 3 times a year I host a large group event where we rent a facility and have an all day event. So the calendar tries to support demo's of all types (hobby, business, or career, brand new or been around awhile), weekdays and weekend opportunities, and a variety of styles to offer a little bit to everyone.
You haven't seen me online as much because of my classes and I've been preparing for our large group event which is this Saturday - SEPTEMBER TO REMEMBER and we are so excited as we have 60+ guests coming and we have the LINDA HANSEN attending too!! Happy to say that we are pretty much ready to go but still have things to work on (like my demo, hmm!) and little things... but Diana and I met the last couple of days and did everything together this time (way more fun) vs. in the past we've each kind of had done the same thing but at our own homes. This seemed quicker and more fun and we got to visit and have "lupper" togther too...< which is the new word for a late lunch, early supper according to my hubby Dave >.. he hates it when I eat at 3 or 4pm... as it is too late for lunch and too early for supper, so it just messes up the schedule... but Di got a kick out of it because so far we've done it twice and she got to see him a bit funny about it, he was laughing at us and telling us how wrong we are! :-)
Here's my card! The layout was inspired by a non-SU card and for the life of me I can't remember who or where or what company ... sorry about that. I changed it quite a bit so it's not a case but I did include several of the elements from the original card.
I will try to share some of the other card swaps too, the ones that I received! I need to take the pictures and upload them and find some quiet time to type of the posts! :-)

It's been busy around here with classes each weekend and driving two teenagers around. But guess what? Yep, I finally have a few minutes to upload pictures and type up a post for ya!
These are the four Christmas Cards that they made at last weekends Stamp-A-Stack, session #2. It is a class where you get to make a stack of cards! Four designs, you make five of each and includes envelopes. I am hosting four separate sessions this fall, (Aug & Sep done... Oct & Nov coming up). Who's the most famous reindeer of all? Well here he is, looking all sparkly and dazzled...
This card features the single image Reindeer stamp called DASHER (pg 208, $8.95, 116816) and the two piece greeting set, CHRISTMAS GREETINGS (pg 28, $10.95, 115448) along with the NEW designer series paper from the Holiday Mini Catalog called Christmas Cocoa Specialty (pg 21, $11.95, 116770) -- this paper has metallic-y page and two different designs that are flocked! Way cool paper!
The ink is Chocolate Chip and finished off with a touch of Real Red 5/8" grosgrain ribbon and a snowflake punch from real red cardstock.

This card is clean, crisp and just classic. I love everything about its simplicity. The card base is Kraft cardstock, with a layer of Always Artichoke cardstock, the SCENIC SEASON focal image was stamped in Always Artichoke ink on Whisper White cardstock.
Add a touch of kraft tafetta ribbon with a mini glue dot and lots of dazzling diamonds glitter applied with a two-way glue pen.
My hubby said this is his favorite of the bunch! And it's an original of my very own...
It intrigued me because of the color combination. White Naturals cardstock for the base (although my sample here is confetti white as I ran out of naturals to make my personal one) and Brushed Gold cardstock with Taken with Teal cardstock.
On the Teal, the snowflakes are stamped with Craft White ink and Encore Gold ink. The greeting is stamped with Teal ink.
Finished off with an Ornament Punch from Gold cardstock, with an ornament loop made from the stretchy gold cording which is back in the mini catalog (yeah!), dimensionals and some white organza ribbon.
This card is a TWO Take CASEd card... my stamping buddy Elizabeth CASEd a card from Kimberly VD and tweaked it a bit to put her own spin on it... now I case'd Elizabeths card but simplied it a bit to make it my own... changed up the set.
The card is Real Red cardstock and ink, using the new TREE TRIMMINGS stamp set (pg 28, $14.95, 116722) and the new Christmas Cocoa Specialty paper featured in the mini catalog (see above for ordering info). This red DSP is the FLOCK paper!

Well Friday night was a blast and I'll have to share some pictures from the TWILIGHT party but for tonight I am going to share the rest of the cards they made at my Birthday Card 101020 Class on Saturday.
This one used the On Your Birthday greeting set and the new Finial Press Textured Impressions folder and the new Stampin' Exclusive Sizzix die called Blossom Party, topped off with a Prettes Kit pearl and some Eggplant 1/4" grosgrain ribbon.
This card uses the Modern Designer Series Paper and For All You Do stamp set. It is a simplified version of a card that I saw online.
And this is the 10th card of the class which also uses the Modern Designer Series Paper and new in colors with the Birthday Bliss and On a Pedastal stamp sets.
I hope you enjoyed the Birthday Cards and it sparks some creativity in you! It's time to swith gears back to Christmas designs for me, for my downline team Shoe Box Swap tomorrow night and then I have a STAMP-A-STACK Christmas Card Class this coming Saturday too!
